Full Scale Exercise -
Kewaunee County Emergency Management conducted an exercise on Saturday, October 23, 2004 in the Village of Luxemburg, with events taking place on and near the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds.
The exercise was terrorism-based, involving mass casualties and a chemical incident. Participants tested several components to assess skills, functionality and coordination among several different agencies and groups, as well as examining the adequacy of local, community-wide emergency operations plans.
Participants included Kewaunee County Emergency Management, local and county law enforcement, fire departments and emergency medical services, Village of Luxemburg government, the FBI and many other volunteers.
