Emergency Planning and Recovery

Kewaunee County Public Health has cooperated with many other agencies such as Emergency Management, EMS departments, and local medical providers in order to prevent and prepare for many possible emergencies.  Funded by a grant from the CDC, the emphasis has been on building relationships with traditional and non-traditional partners, and on encouraging first responders to have a family emergency plan.  So whether it is a hazardous material release, an act of bioterrorism, or an influenza pandemic, it is in the best interest of the residents of Kewaunee County to have the Public Health Department, AND the residents of Kewaunee County prepared.
