Families FIRST is a Kewaunee County initiative to promote safe and stable families using the
40 Developmental Assets
as a framework.
Assets are the building blocks that young people need to become healthy, caring, and responsible adults.

In an asset-building community:

• youth feel valued and supported.

• youth and adults interact often.

• youth participate in a variety of positive experiences.
  
  Every individual can build assets.

• Learn more about assets.

• Join a Families FIRST Action Team.

• Build relationships with young people.
