Passports

The Kewaunee County Clerk’s Office (810 Lincoln Street, Kewaunee) accepts passport applications and offers a passport photo service.
 
PLEASE CALL 920-388-7133 ASAP FOR AN APPOINTMENT
U.S. Dept. of State processing times are now taking 6-8 weeks

The cost for a passport photo is $12 and payable by cash, check, debit or credit card (addt'l fee).
 
When having your photo taken, federal law requires:
  • Your head faces the camera directly with full face in view
  • Neutral facial expression (no open mouth smile), with both eyes open
  • Everyday clothing is worn
  • No glasses
  • No hats or head coverings (Unless religious or medical, verification required)
  • No headphones or wireless hands-free devices
Please be aware that routine processing for passport services is currently taking 6-8 weeks and expedite processing is taking 2-3 weeks (additional $60) from the date the passport agency receives the application, plus mailing time. 
A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER IS NEEDED FOR THE APPLICATION FEE
NO CASH, CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WILL BE ACCEPTED

NOTE: The last available appointment each business day is 4:00 p.m. to ensure completion by the time that County buildings close, which is at 4:30 p.m.
