The Kewaunee County District Attorney’s Office goal is to protect the community by prosecuting individuals that violate the criminal laws of the State of Wisconsin in Kewaunee County. These prosecutions will be done in a professional and equitable manner. It will be our intent to bring individuals to justice, while ensuring that crime victims are treated with respect and fairness throughout the judicial process.

The District Attorney’s Office provides a range of services including: prosecution of crimes and county ordinances, extradition, victim/witness services, wage claims, and advising law enforcement officers within the county. 

A prosecutor’s obligation is to seek justice on behalf of the community. Restitution for the victim, potential for the defendant to rehabilitate, and the safety of the community are some of the factors that are considered in making decisions on individual cases.
