Sept. 2, 2021 - UW-Madison Extension Helps Parents Connect
Phone: (920) 388-7141
September 2, 2021
Renee Koenig, Human Development & Relationships Educator, UW-Madison Extension Kewaunee County
Parents and children have faced new social changes over the past year and help is available from the UW Madison Division of Extension. The Parent Connect is a free, weekly opportunity for parents and caregivers to discuss ways to support their children.
According to Extension Educator, Renee Koenig, the discussions will center on, “how to build skills in our children to be caring, respectful, kind, and confident problem-solvers. These skills help children to positively participate in their family and community, help ensure school success, and help them develop a more positive self-concept.”
The Parent Connect is facilitated by an Extension Educator on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. via online or phone.
