The Kewaunee County Highway Department, in alignment with the policies and goals of Kewaunee County, will efficiently and effectively provide quality roads to ensure the public safe travel year round.
The Highway Department performs maintenance on 220 miles of County highways, 61 miles of State highways, hundreds of miles of municipal roads.
Responsibilities include: road construction, pavement patching, crack filling and the seal coating of pavement, shoulder maintenance, bridge and culvert maintenance, highway signing, pavement marking, and winter maintenance.
