Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) Services
We offer services to Kewaunee County residents on an outpatient basis.
At the time of the appointment a full AODA assessment will be administered by a Certified AODA Counselor. You may be asked to bring someone along to the appointment to provide additional information.
Kewaunee County provides the following services as a part of their AODA programming:
- Information & Support Services
- Assessment & Referral
- Individual Counseling
- Dual Diagnosis Assessment & Referral Services
- OWI Assessments
OWI Assessments for those convicted of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated (OWI) will be conducted by the OWI Assessor. OWI Assessments must be completed in the county where you reside and not where the citation was issued.
A Driver's Safety Plan will be developed and will include either education or counseling, depending on the outcome of the assessment. There will be a charge by the provider of the services, which is not included in the assessment fee.
OWI Assessment Process:
- The cost of the assessment is $275.00. Kewaunee County accepts cash, money order, check and credit cards. Credit cards have any additional 2.39% convenience fee. Kewaunee County will charge an additional $150 fee if you do not call 24 hours in advance should you need to cancel your appointment.
- You must pay the assessment fee and complete the New Patient Registration Packet before Kewaunee County will schedule an assessment interview.
