Medicaid (Medical Assistance) Medicaid is a state/federal program that provides health coverage for Wisconsin residents that are elderly, blind or disabled (EBD). Medicaid is also known as Medical Assistance, MA and Title 19. Eligibility is based on income and assets.

SSI - RELATED MA / ELDERLY, BLIND AND DISABLED (EBD) Must be 65 years old or older, blind, or disabled. Eligibility for Medical Assistance is based on State income and asset guidelines. SeniorCare: http://dhfs.wisconsin.gov/seniorCare/index.htm

LONG TERM CARE WAIVER MA Coverage for children and adults that meet age requirements or have been determined disabled by the Social Security Board and must meet income and asset limits. Long term Care (LTC) services are beyond, and usually in addition to Medicaid covered services and are designed to meet special needs for elderly/disabled individuals in accomplishing activities of daily living and caring for their health.
