The Kewaunee County Sanitary Ordinance covers all municipalities in Kewaunee County where public sewer is not available.
The purpose of this ordinance is to protect and promote the health, safety, prosperity, aesthetics, and general welfare of the people and communities within Kewaunee County.
The general intent of this ordinance is to regulate the location, design, construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, inspection, management, and use of POWTS and non-plumbing sanitation systems so as to protect the health of residents and transients and to secure safety from disease, nuisance, and pestilence.
