Below are the current positions available:

Winter Park Assistants - Kewaunee County is hiring Winter Park Assistants in our Promotions and Recreation Department. These are temporary positions with a wage of $11.72 per hour.

Winter Park Assistants are responsible for carrying out daily operational tasks at the ski & tubing hill facility. Must be available to work part-time, weekends, with occasional weekdays & evenings during the winter season.

Graduation from high school, GED, or equivalency. Basic first aid experience helpful, but not essential.  Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Must be in good physical condition.
Social Worker, Child & Family Unit - Kewaunee County is hiring a Social Worker within the Human Services Child and Family Unit.  This is a full-time position with a starting wage rate of $23.41 per hour in addition to the benefit package offered to employees of Kewaunee County.

The primary responsibility for the Social Worker position is comprehensive assessment for abused, neglected and delinquent children and their families embracing the principals of Coordinated Service Teams and Trauma Informed Care.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; two or more years of child protection service experience preferred.  
Highway Worker Eligibility List - Kewaunee County is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the Highway Worker position.  These are full-time positions with a starting wage rate of $19.62 per hour in addition to the benefits package offered to employees of Kewaunee County. 

The Highway Worker is responsible for providing labor and operating highway department equipment.  Assignments given may change from day to day and season to season.

Graduation from high school, valid Wisconsin driver's license.  Possess or obtain within 60 days of hire:  Class Grade A Commercial Driver's Lincense.  Endorsement N.  Able to lift up to 100 pounds, as needed.  Six to twelve months of progressive road construction work experience.  Offer of employment is contingent upon passing a medical phsycial exam.  
Seasonal Workers (temporary) - Kewaunee County is hiring seasonal-temporary positions to assist with work in the Highway Department and Promotions and Recreation Department. These are seasonal-temporary positions with a wage of $11.72 per hour.

Responsible for various tasks.  Assignments given may change from day to day.

Radio Operator/Jailer Eligibility List - Kewaunee County is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the Radio Operator/Jailer position. These are full-time positions with a starting wage rate of $28.05 per hour in addition to the benefits package offered to employees of Kewaunee County.

Duties of the Radio Operator/Jailer position include dispatching emergency requests for fire, police and rescue, operating computer equipment and maintaining the general operation of the jail.
