Under the direction of the Clerk of Circuit Court, handle caseload as assigned using the CCAP (Circuit Court Automation Project) system.
Example of Duties:
Assist with the collection of fines/forfeitures, costs, bail bonds, and restitution.
Ability to do day end procedures.
Assist with filing, maintaining and disposing of court cases.
Enter financial information into system when disposing of cases.
Perform secretarial duties as necessary to include assisting customers (phone or in-person) as necessary and answering correspondence.
Assist with jury management.

Essential Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to work with numbers with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to properly handle money and make change.
Knowledge of record keeping methods within the CCAP system.
Ability to learn new computer programs and software.
Ability to organize and schedule work efficiently to complete tasks.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other county and agency employees, and the general public.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to use tact and diplomacy when speaking with irate customers on the phone or in person.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to follow court orders to dispose of cases.
Knowledge of court procedure, forms and requirements.
Training and Experience:
Graduation from High School, GED, or equivalency.
Prior experience working within the Court system, desired.
Ability to learn and operate CCAP. Training provided.
The performance of tasks mainly involves inside, protected from weather conditions. Ability to perform most work from a sedentary position. Ability to function in situations encountered in a normal office setting.
