Administrative Assistant $18.84/hour - Kewaunee County Sheriff's Department is hiring an Administrative Assistant. This position performs administrative and clerical duties for the Sheriff, Chief Deputy, Lieutenants and the department as a whole. In this position you will transcribe documents such as letters, witness statements, case records and incident data.  Act as a confidential secretary between the Sheriff's Department and judicial agencies, attorneys, and the public. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency.  Preferred:  A degree in the Secretarial Science field and two years of office experience. Any combination of education and experience that provides the equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.  Must successfully pass a written pre-employment exam including typing screening. Human Services Director $88,750 - $98,500 - Kewaunee County is seeking an individual interested in a long-term career leadership position in our Human Services Department.  This position reports directly to the County Administrator and is responsible for the provision of Behavioral Health, Child Welfare Long-Term Support and Economic Support to the residents of Kewaunee County.  We are a trauma informed agency seeking to help all residents of Kewaunee County to become the best version of themselves.  This selected candidate will manage a staff of 30+ individuals and a budget of $5.5 million.  The successful candidate will have knowledge of state and federal requirements as to the provision of Human Services and the ability to work within a set budget while meeting the needs of county residents. Preferred Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, administration, business management or a closely related field.  5 years of demonstrated leadership within a human services agency or experience in management of a social services organization. This position is considered open until filled.
Jail Cooks $16.75/hour - Kewaunee County Sheriff's Department is hiring Jail Cooks.  The hourly wage for the Jail Cook position is $16.75 per hour.  This position is part-time, 15 hours/week, rotating weekday/weekend schedule.  Along with the Head Jail Cook, this position is responsible for preparing meals for the jail inmates.  Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage area.  These positions are open until filled.
Seasonal Summer Help Workers $13.00/hour - Kewaunee County is hiring temporary help to work in the Highway and Parks Department.  You will work part-time hours during the weekdays this summer.  Required: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.  Basic knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.  These positions are considered open until filled.
Clerk of Court Assistant $17.20/hour - Kewaunee County Clerk of Circuit Court Department is hiring a full-time Assistant.  The starting wage for this position is $17.20 per hour in addition to the benefits package offered to employees of Kewaunee County. This position is responsible for the collection of fines, assist customers over the phone and in person, assist with jury management and recordkeeping. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency. Experience working within the court system desired.   Apply by Wednesday, May 18th.
