The work we do matters! We’re looking for a dedicated Highway Worker to join our team long term. Economic Support Lead Worker, $24.67 - Kewaunee County is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate person to join our team for the long haul as a full-time Economic Support Lead Worker. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior competence in all areas of job performance such as eligibility determination for Economic Support programs, CARES, and other relevant State systems. This position works in the consortium call center, completes benefit recovery, and provides all other support services provided by Economic Support. The successful candidate will be able to work in this advanced level position and maintain a reduced Economic Support caseload as well as assist in the training of new staff. Radio Operator/Jailer, $31.84/hour - Kewaunee County Sheriff's Department ~ To Serve and Protect with Pride and Integrity.
Duties of the Radio Operator/Jailer position include dispatching emergency requests for fire, police and rescue, operating computer equipment and maintaining the general operation of the jail. Officers alternate days of jailing and dispatching. It's a job with a ton of variety, including something different every day. A high school diploma is all that is required! Full training is provided! Strong organization skills and the ability to pick up computer programs quicky will help you succeed. One of our best features is our schedule, which gives officers every other weekend off, making it a 4-day weekend!
