KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI – Kewaunee County is pleased to share along with Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC that broadband is becoming available for businesses and residents.
 
To celebrate the first steps of the project’s success, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1PM at the new Ryan’s Corner Tower located at N4559 County Road AB, Luxemburg. Kewaunee County Board Chairman Dan Olson and Kewaunee County Administrator Scott Feldt will join officials from Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC, the Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce as well as other dignitaries at the tower, which primarily serves the areas west of Kewaunee and south of Luxemburg.
 
“I have heard from people who have already gotten Bug Tussel Wireless service started. They are thrilled. This service is a vast improvement over what has been previously available to people in rural areas of the County,” said Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors Chairman Dan Olson.
 
Kewaunee County has been working with Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC since 2019 to bring high-speed internet access to the area by erecting new towers, installing equipment on existing towers, and building a fiber route.
 
“I want to thank Bug Tussel Wireless as this project continues to move forward. Through our strong partnership, fast and reliable internet access will be available to our rural residents. This is the first step in making Kewaunee County even more attractive to families and businesses,” said Kewaunee County Administrator Scott Feldt.
