May 3, 2023 - Mental Health Awareness Month

Are you feeling "down"? Maybe this is a feeling that you've struggled with before but thought that you needed to "just get over it"? You don't have to go it alone... May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the Kewaunee County Dept. of Human Services wants to let you know that there's a crisis line available when you need someone to talk to.

You don't need to be in crisis mode either... You’re encouraged to call WHENEVER you need to, even if you just call to say, "I need someone to talk to".

Whether you call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline (9-8-8), or the Kewaunee County Crisis Line (920-255-1645), a REAL PERSON will answer your call 24/7/365. You can remain anonymous, and the call can stay between you and the person you're talking with.
