COVID-19 Vaccine Available through Kewaunee County Public Health
KEWAUNEE, WI – Individuals looking for an immediate appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, should contact the Kewaunee County Public Health Department.
The Health Department has openings for this week’s COVID-19 vaccine clinics for anyone over the age 16. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered on Wednesday, April 14
“We have additional vaccines available. We’ve been working through our waiting lists and we are either finding that those on the waiting list have received their first dose elsewhere and have not removed themselves from our list, which frees up a dose or the people that we’re reaching out to from the waiting list are not picking up the phone when we call or calling us back, which again frees up a dose,” said Cindy Kinnard, RN, Kewaunee County Public Health Department Director. “We're actually in a position now, where our vaccine supply is outnumbering the people on our waiting list. We want to assure that we are not wasting any doses.”
To date, the Health Department has administered 5,655 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
