Kewaunee County Issues Reminder to Register for “Clean Sweep”
KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI – Kewaunee County Emergency Management is reminding County residents, farmers, and ag businesses to register for “Clean Sweep” as some preferred time slots to drop-off of hazardous waste materials are now closed.
The event, which allows registrants to properly dispose of household wastes, unwanted chemicals, pesticides, dry medications, opioids, sharps, and more in an environmentally safe manner, either at no or little cost, will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Kewaunee County Hillside Highway Shop, E2180 STH 54, Casco from 8AM-NOON.
Currently, Emergency Management has approximately 50 registrants and can accept up to 75 more on a first-come, first-served basis until Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
