The local American Legion Posts & Auxiliaries hosted the 61st annual Youth Government Day today in Kewaunee County!

Elected officials of the county provided students and teachers from 2 county high schools insight on their rolls and duties, so students could gain firsthand knowledge on how county government plays an important role in their daily lives.

Students engaged and participated in activities with elected officials and administrative staff.

They also had the opportunity to speak with Corporation Counsel, members of the Kewaunee County Bar Association and participate in a mock trial.
